Developers have big plans for Morningside Apartments

Never content with historical structures, developers are now planning on razing the old familiar multi-cultural apartment community and replacing it with new buildings and people. Surely the developers are happy, and surely the tenents are unhappy. We know who wins in such cases. Those with he money.
I will personally miss living in what might well be the best example of interracial, multicultural cohabitation in Mecklenburg County, and hope they at least let the beautiful old trees remain standing.
